Hello guys,so yesterday i said i was going to post the interview i had with our very own SAMMY PPH, the CEO 6ixfifteen and also a fashion blogger and trust me,the interview went well and he is such a nice and friendly person,...check the interview below:
Q. So who is Sammy pph?
A. A playful but very focused individual, i find pleasure in fashion and science, i also like to learn new things.
Q. Tell us abit about your family background
A. I am from a yoruba lineage, and also royal but from my mother's side.
Q. What was growing up like for you?
A. Menh,it was hard, i struggled to get it right as a student, i transitioned from average grades to striaght A's because i always wanted to be as smart as my sister.
Q. What schools did you attend?
A. Tobart vineyard--primary, Lagos state model college, Meiran-seconday, Covenant university--tertiary.
Q. Are you single?
A. Nope, i have a very beautiful and supportive girlfriend
Q. How would you describe your life off social media?
A. My life is calm, i am more focused on what i want to become as a person but i hang out with friends a couple of times.
Q. How would you describe your personal style in three words?
Q. In which year did you get your big dream in the fashion scene and what was the experience?
A. I got it in my second year in uni, but i was doing it on a very small scale with making of gladiator sandals, i brought the dream to life some months after my convocation.
Q. How do you navigate through your career as a young fashion icon and other things?
A. I always wanted to be diverse, i never wanted to be a one way traffic kind of person, so this influenced my drive as an individual.
Q. What is the most expensive fashion assert you've ever bought?
A. Omo i don't think i ever took note of that,but i'm sure i'm yet to get my most expensive,it would probably be a diamond plated shoe or ring.
Q. Any fashion item you will never be cought wearing?
A. Not sure, i wear almost anything but i'm mindful of the occasions i wear them to.
Q. What will you be caught wearing on a normal day?
A. My glasses, a ring or two,an Apple watch and most likely my designs.
Q. Share your favorite fashion items with us
A. Love shoes and glasses
Q. What has the response been so far from family,friends and fans?
A. It's been amazing,they believe in me so much and keep giving me words of encouragement,i love them.
Q. What are the quote you live by?
A. "For we are fashion oriented doesn't mean we are book disoriented_pph.
Q. What's the way forward for your brand?
A. I am planning to go for more prestigious exhibition to build my brand and also work with top brands internationally and locally.
Q. Your 3top fashion brands in Nigeria
A. Very hard to call,but i think, Ti Nathan, Orange and EmmyKasbit.
Q. How did you come about your brand name?
A. Its my birthday date excluding the year.
Q. What do you think about Nigeria fashion?
A. Nigeria fashion is too sick,gives me the goose everytime!
Q. What advice will you give young guys that are copying your style?
A. No one is copying my style, i feel they just extract abit of my taste and add theirs,that's what makes them unique.
Q. How do you see your brand in the future?
A. We are working towards becoming a multinational brand and we are getting there gradually.
Q. Who do you look up to in the fashion world?
A. No one really, i just admire alot of male and female designers and i hope we can link up with them soon.
Q. Your 3 best designers?
A. I really don't have,too many designers out there to be having a favorite three.
