EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH MYDADSBOSS (MDB)
Hey guys,you know i will always bring you the best on CHAT'S BLOG right,so i had the opportunity to interview one of our young photographer in person of Timothy Eduardo,CEO of MYDADSBOSS popularly known as MDB,he is so good with the camera and i really appreciate his work,check out the interview below;
Q. Tell us a bit about yourself
A. My name is Onuchukwu Chidiebere Timothy, still a growing young man from Enugu state. Bsc. Computer science and i am a 90's kid. And least i forget, lol, i love food
Q. Are you single?
A. Married
Q. How would you describe your style?
A. My style? i'd say simple. Cause i am this kind of person that likes to do things the comfortable way.

Q. Did you go to school to study photography?
A. No, was self taught, something i always had interest for, so i picked and still pick up knowledge from any source, be it person, the Internet, books and stuff. But i have never paid to be taught photography. though i plan to.
Q. How long have you been a photographer?
A. Well, i like to divide this question into two before i became a photographer by camera type standard (don't want to use the word "professionally", i was always a camera lover and started shooting with my samsung 1760 phone as at the year 2009 or 2010. Then i got my first professional cam at 2013. So before the pro cam and after the pro cam, lets say roughly eight years.
Q. What and who got you started in photography?
A. Lol, i'd say the lack of memoirs got me started with photography, like Nigeria as at 10years ago, families only had few photographs to show their kids as to how their growing up was, which was a pain sometimes cause when you old you can barely see things about you from childhood, probably just your 1st birthday photographs and some other celebrations and that's all. So i feel a camera no matter how small should be one part of a family gadget to pause memories for the future. And who? lol, so many people made me wanna do photography, one of the major, Obi Somto his works as at 2011 made me want to do photography.
Q. What type of cameras do you shoot with?
A. Any camera i can lay my hands on, most times it's not about the machine, it's about you.

Q. What is your favourite photography accessory, other than your camera?
A. Lol, my photography bag, to carry all my machines
Q. How important is photo shop in your final images?
A. Photo shop is and has become the most necessary tool for photography, but it's only a vendor also. There are other photography soft wares but photo shop has proven necessary, so why not use it?
Q. Can you briefly describe for the readers your photographic workflow?
A. Lol, i am creative, meaning i get to create, so whatever workflow means to anyone, mine is simple, create or recreate. I am the kind that doesn't like to stress myself in post production so i like to get it right from shooting so i don't have to remove an arm to place a chair on photoshop.
Q. What has been your most memorable assignment and why?
A. Most memorable?? Hmm, my trip to the ikogosi spring, tho planned but the images i got of these two baby girls playing and having fun as the spring water flowed, made me so happy i was with my camera. Like this was not planned, it was just a moment that didn't last in real, cause they cant be playing there for life, but it was memorable on my canvas, my camera, my laptop, my phone, my dropbox, but not just mine but other peoples also, cause you know why? if i wasn't there, if no photographer was there, that moment wouldn't have been captured, no one would have seen how beautiful that moment was, so yes that was my most memorable.

Q. Who are some of your favourite classic photographers, and how did they influence you?
A. *Sigh*, Obi Somto was the first one, he influenced my picking up of a camera.
"Lol" there was this photograph of Omotola Jalade Ikehinde , i was always in love with back then, "Lol" only for me to realise last year. it was our daddy Kelechi Amadi that shot it 🙌🙌.
Mummy TY Bello, her pictures always looking like Heaven,💖💖. Lastly some foreign photographers, i don't know names, i just stalk and watch their work, in fact any photographer right now can influence my work. We live in a world of creativity right now.
Q. How has Social Media played a role in your photography?
A. All i have to say is that it has made everything easy for me.
Q. What do you think of the photography industry at the moment and where do you see it in 5 years from now?
A. Photography now, is where it can be and in 5 years would be where its going to be. The only problem is people having misplaced career choices, like some are here because they feel its something they can do, or because they can buy a camera. I mean its not a crime to own a camera, but it doesn't take you that to be called a photographer, ask Dajonimedia when you see him😂😂

Q. Is there anybody or anything you would love to photograph?
A. My Late Dad, May his soul rest in peace 🙏🙏, but since he is late, and there are other living things and humans, i would love to photograph any that comes my way.
Q. What advice would you have for somebody who wants to pursue photography?
A. Be sure its photography, the pursue it.
Q. If you could have lunch with anyone, who would it be?
A. Really, only lunch?? No dinner? No breakfast? "Lol", really have no one in mind.😊😊
Q. What do you enjoy the most about your job as a photographer?
A. Travelling!! its a very fun part of photography for me.
Q. What lighting equipment do you take on a shoot?
A. it depends on the shoot. You cant be carrying all gears for all shoots.
Q. If you had to choose one lens which one would it be and why?
A. 70-200 f2.8, "Lol", why?? its a zoom lens that takes in good amount of light.😎
Wow, i really had a great time with MDB and i hope you enjoy it,check out some of his works below and also follow him on instagram to see more @mydadsboss
